In the 1990s, Vietnam was virtually an unknown destination, even to those who travel on the classic heritage trails. Until 1997, adventure tour operators began to cast an eye on Vietnam but did not choose it as their main destination.
Graduating in 1997, Nguyen Manh Hoa became a local guide for Allibert, the world largest Trekking Operator. At that time, the tour conditions in those remote destinations are extremely difficult but Hoa had found something he could dedicate his life to: adventure travel.
After 5 years traveling up and down the many roads of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, Hoa founded Asia Aventura in 2001 as the first trekking specialist in North Vietnam. Since then, Asia Aventura has cooperated with a number of international tour operators to open up little - visited corners of Indochina to the world. Not just acting as a local ground handler, we also constantly pioneered new routes and developed a wide range of exclusive tours for them. Our service, perfected over the past twelve years, helps strengthen the cooperation year by year.
Asia Aventura is still a small company with 40 full time staffs but we wish to keep focusing on our original adventure and off the beaten track travel (soft adventure) concept rather than expanding into mass tourism service.
What we are doing?
Trekking: We are the number one trekking specialist in Indochina and we are working with the biggest Trekking Tour Operator in the world now. We have a number of Exclusive Tours that only we can organize.
Biking: We have done it for over 6 years and now we can organize both professional biking and leisure nonprofessional biking in Indochina.
Off the beaten track tour: Referred to as soft adventure travel (including activities such as hiking, kayaking, homestay, cooking class and visit to areas away from mass tourism. These kinds of activities are sought by increasing number of travelers and we strongly focus on it now.
